What Happened?

I am getting stuff together for Hunter's star of the week at school the week of the 17th.. I am finding pictures and want to know what happened to my "baby" boy.. I didn't realize how much he has changed until i saw the pictures .. he use to be such a butterball and is really starting to thin out and his face keeps changing and changing.. but that smile is there in all the pics for sure! He has it copyrighted!

Our October Trip to the Beach

Over fall break we went to Orange Beach to mark the year anniversary of my knee.. Haha.. Jk.. anyhow.. we had a really good and relaxing few days.. I hate that they have shorted our fall break because we sure could have stayed longer. We went out on the boat, the kids went deep sea fishing for the first time ( our fish was tiny.. i caught it by hooking it in the eye) hung out on the beach, and just played. The kids loved Dale's beach house and I sure wish i had one!.. Guess I can keep dreaming!.. We had our own pool, but we didn't use it much because by the time we got back from the beach we were pooped! I can't wait to go back in June.. There are a ton of pics so it will probably take two entries!

Halloween Fun!

I am soo behind on this. I have gotten use to putting my stuff on fb.. that i have neglected my blog.. Last night was halloween and the kids were very into it. They ran around the neighborhood with their friends to each door and screamed estatically between each house. They loved the haunted house in the front of the neighborhood and we road the go cart around for a little too. Hunter was a cowboy riding a horse and Rachel was Lucy from Narnia.. They are already planning their outfits for next year!

Hunter' s first day!

Hunter has been so excited to start PreK this year. He is going to be in the same class Rachel was in last year with the same teachers. He thinks he is big stuff.. This morning he willingly got up, showered, and actually wore "hard" pants. For those who don't know this is WOHOOO>> he only likes soft pants (elastic and t shirt material basically - he has a texture thing). We also had to go to Kroger because he HAD to take his teachers flowers. He was soo proud.. Then he went to school and acted shy.. Who knows! Here are a few pics we got this morning..

First day of school!

Wow.. Rachel has started school.. very hard to believe.. at this moment I can hear her class coming down the hall with their milk for snack time.. now how fun is that! Here are some pictures from her first few days.. She is very excited to be going to school with big kids.. She didnt even tell me bye this morning.. i was in the hall and turned around and she had gotten her bag and was heading to class.. I had to make her stop to get the pictures.. then she just kept on going.. guess I should be glad she is so confident!
She is in Mrs. Burnette's class and is very excited about it. I have tons of pictures.. I went nuts. It really anoyed Richard, but he will be glad one day when she is all grown up.

Happy Birthday Ethan

Today we celebrated Ethan's 8th birthday with just family at our house. He loves veggie tales so I made a Veggie Tales cake and we blew up the slide and just played. Here are a few pictures.. Rachel and Hunter took over his toys after they were opened as you can see.
