Gary's Going Away Party

This past weekend we had a going away party for Gary. The boys played basketball.. the kids jumped in the jumparoo.. and a secret someone tried mastering the board.. but I won't reveal his identity.. We had a lot of fun just hanging out in the hood..

Hair be gone!

I have been toying with the idea of chopping Rachel's hair off, but didn't ever have the guts to do it.. until this weekend.. So first thing Tuesday I made an appointment to chop it! She was so excited to go do it and loved it! Luckily, I am happy with the results.. and either everyone else likes it or they are lying to me..! haha!! Halfway through I began to panic a little..Hunter gave me a clump of the hair off the floor..it was soooooo long!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow.. end results I thought were cute.. and it looks soo healthy! The Crab Shack!

Richard built the crabs a house today with some stuff we had in the garage.. They crazy things went nuts as soon as we put them in there and ran all up the side.. THEY LOVED IT!! The kids did too! They are sleeping together in Hunter's room so they can be with the crabs.. The blue one is Hunter's Allen the girl.. The enormous one with the butterfly shell is Lucy (after Narnia) .. and the little purple one is Grandma's (Hunter told her he would get her one) .. and we named it Missy... Yes.. they are very creepy!

SUMMER FUN!

We lost our minds AGAIN!! We have a new summer toy for the kids to beat the heat. Richard surprised them today with this "little" gift.. They thought he was outside blowiwng up one of those small 2 ring pools.. Needless to say they were estatic!

Gulf Shores!

We just returned from our annual beach trip! I made it back with both knees still in place!! We had a great time.. the kids did soo good and played on the beach great! The adults actually got to relax and catch some rays! Even better the kids would pass out - literally at night! We beached it, play mini golf, went shopping, built castle after castle, boogie boarded, and Hunter loved looking for crabs at nighr.. we even found a few big ones during the days!! Rachel was a mermaid in the sand and Hunter was being eaten by a shark in case you can't tell by the pictures.. Here are a few pics.. I had trouble picking them out.. Oh yeah! We came back with 3 new friends, Allen the girl, Lucy, and MIssy .. the hermit crabs!

Snoopy Blimp

A few days before we left for Gulf Shores we were able to go visit the MetLife Blimp with Troy and Ethan. They got to get in it and see how it is driven. I didn't realize there are only about 20 left that they fly around.. So it was pretty neat to get to see one of the few left! Afterwards we went to the park to play with Ethan..
