For anyone with girls this was great! We timed it perfectly with the new release of the Kit Kittredge movie.. which I highly recommend for both kids and adults (well girls at least).. It was the cutest movie about Kit who grew up during the depression.. Rachel loved it. For those who don't know each doll is in her own time during history that tells a little story that relates to major milestones in American history.. ex.. Colonist, American Revolution, Native Americans, WW11, etcc.. We went to see it on the first night there.. then the next day.. American Girl Store.. and with the new movie they had a huge Kit play house and tree house and Kit stuff everywhere. I let Rachel pick which character she wanted or if she wanted a Just like You doll.. Ofcourse after seeing the movie she wanted the Kit doll.. which looks like her so she got both... We ate with her other dolls when we first got there at the Bistro and then shopped afterwards.. Her Bitty Twin girl got her hair fixed up.. Bitty Baby got her face, legs and arms cleaned up and a ribbon.. I know it's sick.. I got so into it and bought way too much stuff.. but it was really really cute.. I hope the pictures do it justice.. I also put pictures of what Rachel calls the Magic Elevator.. It started off indoors and then went to face nothing but the outdoors *kind like Willie Wonka" and we got to look 30 stories high over downtown Dallas.. she loved it. and it would go fast enough down that your stomach dropped a little.. here are a few pcitures.. again.. if you haven't seen it yet go see the Kit movie..
